Zdob și Zdub have been restlessly active for 25 years, the band has performed in more than 30 European countries, on the stages of major European festivals like Sziget (Hungary), Roskilde (Denmark), Exit (Serbia), Krefelder Folkfest (Germany), Rock For People. (Czech Republic), etc.
Zdob și Zdub played on the same stage with bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Emir Kusturica & No Smoking Orchestra, Korn, Rage Against The Machine, Soulfly, The
Garbage, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Linkin Park. The band's name Zdob și Zdub is inspired by the hitting sounds of the drums. The rhythm and beats of these "southern shamans" skillfully evoke a happy dancing vibe in all audiences.
