Following his great UK success, pianist Martino Tirimo will be performing a recital dedicated to Chopin featuring some of the composer’s most famous works. It will take place on Monday, 15th April 2024 at Strovolos Municipal Theater and it is supported by the embassy of Poland in Cyprus.

Пьеса - шутка рассказывает о вдове помещика, 7-месячный траур которой был нарушен отставным поручиком , пришедшим требовать долг её покойного мужа. Между ними разгорается спор, в ходе которого поручик вызывает женщину на дуэль! Чем же закончится эта смертельно-опасная авантюра ?

The unsurpassed genius A.P. Chekhov is again on the Cyprus stage together with the Ostrov Theater!
The play is a joke about a landowner's widow, whose 7-month mourning was disrupted by a retired lieutenant who came to demand the debt of her late husband. A dispute breaks out between them, during which the lieutenant challenges the woman to a duel! How will this deadly adventure end?
I'll give you a hint: there are no losers!
Before the performance, guests will be offered a welcome-drink.

Премьера нового нашумевшего театрального проекта, поставленного талантливым режиссером Никитой Кобелевым, чьи спектакли неоднократно становились лауреатами престижных театральных фестивалей, в том числе входили в лонг-лист Национальной театральной премии «Золотая маска».
В основе сюжета – пьеса драматурга Дона Нигро, одного из самых публикуемых современных американских драматургов, чьи произведения ставятся на лучших театральных площадках мира.
Пьесы Дона Нигро – это крутой замес русского психологического театра, традиций Шекспира и американского постмодернизма.
Главные роли исполняют – Виктория Исакова, Александра Ребенок, Ирина Старшенбаум.
В основе спектакля – три женских истории, три сломанных судьбы, три исповеди, рассказанные в форме монолога.
Действие каждого из монологов объединено общими темами - любовь, секс, сложности отношений, травмы прошлого, одиночество и страх любить. В каждой истории густо замешаны страсть и юмор, поэзия и психоанализ.
Центром всех этих историй становится, своего рода сакральный круг, место высказывания, в который входит каждая из героинь, чтобы в ситуации публичного одиночества поделиться подлинной историей, которая перевернула ее жизнь.
Актрисы не стремятся полностью сжиться со своими героинями, а скорее рассказывают о них, с юмором, в игровом, ироничном ключе, чтобы в конечном счете передать свойственную романтику, ранимость и жажду любви.

Mikhail Veller is a Russian writer, publicist, radio presenter, member of the Union of Writers of the USSR, the Russian PEN Center and the Russian Philosophical Society, holder of the Estonian Order of the White Star, IV class. In 1981, Veller created the story "Reference Line". And in 1983 he released his first collection, “I Want to Be a Janitor,” the rights to which were sold abroad. The book was published in Estonia, Armenia, France, Italy, Holland, Bulgaria and Poland. This is how people began to learn about the writer all over the world. And then followed the publication of a huge number of bright works, including the following: “The Adventures of Major Zvyagin”, “Legends of Nevsky Prospect”, “Cassandra”, “Legends of Arbat”, “Bum”, “Island for Whites”, etc.
In his books, Mikhail Veller, starting in 1988, promoted the theory of energy evolutionism, the meaning of which is that the existence of the Universe is considered as the evolution of the primary energy of the Big Bang, and this energy is connected into material structures, increasingly complex, which, in turn, disintegrate with the release of energy, and these cycles proceed with acceleration.
At a meeting with admirers of his work, Mikhail Iosifovich will share his views on philosophy, politics and literature, and answer questions from the audience.

Михаил Шац приезжает в Лимасол в рамках своего тура «Наконец-то!». Харизматичный комик, популярный телеведущий, актер театра и кино, ютуб блогер.
Начинал Михаил в 90 е на свободном российском телевидении, добившись огромной популярности в таких программах как "ОСП студия", "Слава Богу ты пришел", "Хорошие шутки".
Когда его политическая позиция стала несовместимой с российским телевидением, Михаил перешел в жанр стенд апа. Его первый стендап концерт собрал на ютубе больше миллиона просмотров. Вместе с дочкой Соней создал популярный подкаст "Папа, закрой дверь".
После начала войны переехал в Израиль, Россия наградила его напоследок званием иноагента. Иноагентство - новая нефть и Россия с успехом экспортирует этот товар.
В прошлом году с большим успехом прошел стендап тур Михаила « Чемодан, вокзал и..» в Европе и Америке.
В этом году начинается новый тур «Наконец-то!».

Breach is a festival dedicated to Improvised n and Experimental music.
Breach’s mission is to boost and support these practices in Cyprus: free improvisation, free jazz, contemporary classical music, experimental electronic music, sound-art, as well as many other uncharted music making traditions.
This year is the 3rd edition of the Breach Festival in partnership with the Irtijal festival in Lebanon - the largest festival in Beirut and Space21 festival in Kurdistan/Iraq. The participating musicians are coming from Cyprus, Greece, Lebanon, Switzerland, and Spain, and are accomplished in the field of improvisation and experimental music with a long history of performing at recognised venues and festivals around the world.
